Equipment

  • Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vegan mayo

  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion

  • 1 teaspoon dried dill

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

1
Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl.
2
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for the best flavour, although you can serve it immediately with fishy vegan food.

Notes

Chop the onion and pickles very finely to get the best consistency. But this is completely up to you, chop them depending on how chunky you’d like your sauce to be.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (ideally 2-3 hours) before serving for the best flavour.

For a lighter sauce with fewer calories, you can swap half the mayo for any non-dairy yogurt like soy yogurt or coconut yogurt.
